Mid-Currituck Bridge Update
The Mid-Currituck Bridge project team is revising cost estimates due to delays, legal challenges, and rising construction costs, with early projections nearing $1 billion. They are also updating the financing plan and pursuing federal funding to help offset expenses.
A comparative analysis is currently underway to evaluate construction options, with coordination planned alongside the Albemarle Rural Planning Organization. An updated project timeline will follow once key decisions are finalized.

A Fresh Little Office Reset
There’s something about a simple refresh that makes everything feel new again—and I’m loving this little office upgrade! One of my favorite features has to be the beautiful barn doors, thoughtfully built by my son, Ian, now covering my whiteboard and adding the perfect touch of character to the space.
To top it off, I added a new metal rack—simple, clean, and it fits the vibe just right. It’s a small change, but it makes the space feel more organized, refreshed, and ready for all the work (and ideas!) ahead. 👀
